  1. I need some help with my Z120BT. It used to work like this, when I put my vehicle in reverse, the display would automatically switch to the rear camera at full screen. Now going into reverse the display stays on whatever I had it at. If I hit the mode button I get a split screen. The right has navigation, the left is either black or shows the rear camera if I'm in reverse. I'd like ot get it back to how it was; reverse=rear view camera. The only change (and I can't say with 100% certianity the two are related or one change affected the other) is taht I added the iPhone cable. Af
  2. I seldom use my iphone in my truck, but I notice when I connect it, two things happen. The head unit turns to the iPhone/ipod, and the same song starts. EVERY TIME. There are times I just want to connect my phone to charge it. I've also noticed that since I've connected my Pioneer ipod cable, when I put my vehicle in reverse the backup camera is no longer displayed. I can get it to split screen if I'm in GPS mode, which I seldom do. Is there a way to not have the iphone start automatically start playing? If I can't, is there a way to pick a random or at least different song? Fin
  3. Rebooting helped (home button and sleep/wake button at the same time). Thanks!
  4. I've recently got an iPhone4. I purchased the pioneer cable and everything seems to be working except I have no artwork. I've seen pictures of the Z120 with an iPhone connected that does have art so I'm wondering if I'm missing a setting somewhere. More info. This is my first Mac product and I'm new to iTunes, but I have artwork in my iTunes and on the iPhone. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Mike
  5. I'm trying to tune my AVIC Z120BT for the best sound. I don't listen real loud, but I like to hear everything very clearly. I have component speakers and a factory sub. My settings are HPF = 50hz. Sub = 63hz. I have the EQ set custom the far left is at zero, and each setting to the right of that goes up one level. I notice vocals are still a little.... muddy. For deeper vocals like Jimmy Buffett it is decent, but for something higher like Howard Jones it isn't good enough. I had to raise up the 800hz and 2k hz up to the 5kh mark. If you like your sound, how do you set yours?
  6. This happens to be on a CD, but I could put it on a SD or USB. I don't have soft keys. It only shows play/pause on the screen.
  7. I have very large audio book mp3 files. Every now and then I bump the forward button and I loose my place in the file. It starts at the beginning. Does anyone know of a way to REALLY fast forward or jump to a spot. If there were a slider, I could position it myself. These books are in excess of 8 hours in size. I tried to go backwards from the beginning, but that just restarts at the beginning. Last time I did this I was 7.5 hours into an 8 hr book. I had to sit there with my finger on the fast forward for about an hour and a half while driving. Thanks for any feedback you may hav
  8. I have an audio book in an MP3 format on a cd I've been listening to. On the way home yesterday the weather was so nice, I switched to XM and rolled down the windows and cranked the music. When I got in my truck the next morning to continue my audio book I saw it had kept playing. I had to rewind an hour or so. I did some testing, like I paused the playing before switching modes, and powering off the unit, then trying different modes. The same thing happened. The CD kept playing. Has anyone else come across this, or does anyone know of a solution? Thanks in advance, Mike
  9. When I click the menu (blackberry) button while my AVIC-Z120BT is highlighted, I see "Transfer Contacts". I chose that and it sent them. I have a Storm 9530.
