  1. I have had this problem before but it has been so long since I have messed with my head unit. Alright one day I was bored and thought I would change my gps on the map to a car instead of the little pioneer symbol. My head unit pooped up saying it couldn't find the picture file and then rebooted. Now it is in a constant boot every 3 minutes. I was using some mod but I dont remember which one the only thing I remember installing was the ipod theme. I was wondering if I could just delete everything off of the head unit and reinstall the 3.0 software or just reinstall 3.0 over top
  2. Its probablt because you don't have bluetoothsetup firstwith phone. You pobably don't have the gps antenna plugged in and the f700bt doesn't play dvds.
  3. I have the same problem with my f700bt so it was a internal where the usb actually connects inside the unit?
  4. What software does it have do you know? If it is 2.0 I would flash the unit to 3.0 and see if that fixes the problem
  5. I bought my gps on ebay for 10 bucks and it works fine I have a f700bt with 3.0 I would try to see if there are any other updates I think mine is 3.000300 or something like that maps version is 2.0 something.
  6. I have a f700bt and it is running 3.0 firmware. I had Abb's Chrome Nav Mod 'All-in-One' V4.0 And one day I changed my car on the gps and when I did the unit restarted. Since then everytime I click the map button the unit will just restart. I had the 3.0 installation handy still so I copy'd the APL folder over to the unit hoping that it would fix the problem? but it didn't so I need some help. Can I just delete everything on my unit and re copy all of 3.0 over again?
  7. Well Shouldnt a normal usb flash drive work with the unit?
  8. But shouldnt my unit be recognizing the ipod at least? it did one time but it wont anymore? and that was just thought the usb port? any advice?
  9. Alright well first of all im new to this! I just got this unit it is a avic-700bt and I bought it from a guy i tried my ipod from it when it was installed in his car and it took a second but it worked this was just through the built in wired usb calbe and the factory ipod cable. Now when i installed it in my car the only wiring difference is i dont have the gps antenna plugged in at the moment ( little connector broke on uninstall) But the ipod wont even connect at all it is a ipod touch 64gb! anyone know why it is doing this? i upgrade the software last night hoping it would fix the problem
