actually, smart ass, i was looking for some one with obviously more knowledge than you that can give me some input on what could be the problem if the just the disc player assy. has no power. so keep your sarcasm to yourself since you have nothing helpful to say...

i just bought this unit knowing that it is not working properly but i got ahold of it real cheap so iam trying to get some feekback on how to fix it. when i first got it, it already had a dvd in it. when i press eject, nothing happens(no noises or anything). i found out that this unit has a eject lock so i disabled it and still nothing. so i took it out manually. every disc i try to put in, it wont take it as if the power is off. now the radio aspect works perfectly, sound, functionality etc. it just wont take a disc. any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks
