Yeah, i found out that the non-bose unit has the vss in the radio harness. Still trying to locate it for bose system. Thanks anyway. Guess i need to keep looking. How much functionality will i lose if i don't connect the vss?

Thanks guys. Any idea on where the VSS wire is on my car? I have been looking around for the last week and still no luck. My MX-5 has a Bose system.

Does anyone know if the illumination wire on the D3 expects a +12V or ground to switch to night mode? My 2006 Mazda MX-5 has 2 lines for illumination. One is called Pulse Dimming and one is called Inverted Dimming. Trying to figure out which to use. Thanks!
