Great Dane

So I realize this is probably the stupidest question on this forum but the instruction manual states (pg. 81) that to set a station as a preset (step 3) you have to "Keep touching a preset tuning key". I have no clue what this means. I scroll to a station I like, tap in the middle to bring up the presets, and rapidly touch one of the six preloaded favorites but I end up switching to the station. Argh..
