So when you bypass the N1 do you just ground the wire that is supposed to go to the parking brake. Or do you have to hook it up to the parking brake and ground the brake? They seem the same to me. Or is it different.

I am getting it from a friend who is ordering it off of ebay. So what do you have to do to get it to work without the brain? I am mainly wanting to watch DVDs and listen to music. He said that I wouldn't be able to hook a playstation or anything like that up to it unless I got a brain. I am also going to be hooking up atleast 1 amplifer. Maybe two. The one amp will be a sub amp and the other would be for my door speakers. Which means I would need front and rear outs and maybe a sub out.

I might be getting a N1 without a brain. But does it work. Also if not how much could I get a brain for? I am hoping like for 100 or so...

Anyone know if this is true? Because I might be able to get a N1 without the brain for next to nothing. Or if I do need a brain anyone know of a place where I could get one for like 100 or so?
