  1. I am considering getting the AVIC-Z120BT this week. I just got a T-Mobile MyTouch 4G, running Android 2.2.1. I am curious if anyone else out there has this pair set up and working... How good is the BT audio streaming? How good is BT phone calls, pairing and contacts download? Can I wire-connect the phone for any other benefits? Any other general experiences - good or bad? Thanks!
  2. VBLUE42 - you're right, Newman did answer my question. I must have totally missed that post. However, Newman, can you verify what firmware version you are using? Perhaps the latest firmware upgrade resolves compatability issues and would be nice to know if Newman has the latest and greatest. iPhone 4 - antennagate Would love to steer clear of that and my current iPhone is as slow as a turtle so, I'm still holding out hope for a Droid phone or may have to wait for iPhone 5. At the pace Apple puts them out, it'll probably be around March-April...
  3. Still would very much like to know - I've seen hints, but no absolute "really tested" posts - can the 910 play audio from a Droid device and if so: how does the 910 interface handle music playback (do I have access to all my playlists, artists, genres, shuffle, etc. via the 910's interface); does album art still display, etc. In other words, how much like an iPhone does a Droid phone behave in terms of music playback and what differences are there (maybe Droid has glitches - some devices are not recognized; you can't use the 910's "iPod-like" interface at all or just in part - for example, yo
  4. Bummer - it seems no one has experience using a non-iPhone with the X910BT I'm probably stuck with the iPhone platform, to be safe about it. Not that the iPhone is bad but, I do not want the iPhone 4 until the antenna problem with that phone is fixed. No, I don't consider a bumper a fix. If I'm going to pay $200+ for a phone, it should not have any problems that need to be fixed with a band-aid bumper. They need to replace the antenna unit. I know this might spur some comments about the iPhone 4 ("it works fine," "it doesn't," etc.) but, the post is not really about that. I want to kn
  5. Good feedback - thanks... My antenna was placed under the dash (behind the glove box) at first and, in an effort to fix this, it was then moved to on top of the dash. It now sits tightly on top of the dash where the windishield meeets the dash, right by the glove box... I should probably try an antenna replacement. The integration module - will look into this...
  6. Thanks for the posts so far... When I asked Pioneer they responded it is a case-by-case basis if it would work or not and that I should test the phone first. Problem is, I cannot test a phone without buying one since I don't have any friends that own a Droid phone. I'm still hoping someone can step up and state they've actually plugged one in and it worked or did not work...
  7. I have the X910BT in an 09 Tacoma. I have a Pac-Audio steering wheel interface and XM radio connection. I have a factory amp that has an adapter / interface to the radio so I can use the factory amp. I have two issues... At random times, I will be listening to XM and suddenly will hear 2 seconds of static, 2 seconds of music, 2 seconds of static, 2 seconds of music... This repeats several times until finally I get nothing (SAT stops working and is silent until I restart the car). Another issue... On rare occassions, when I start the car, I get no volume for any audio source. The volume
  8. I have an AVIC-X910BT. I currently use an iPhone 3G with it and it works fine - contacts sync, music plays... I've read posts that the Bluetooth works fine with Android-based phones but, I'm curious to know how the Droid OS works with the X910BT to playback music, the voice features for playlists, etc. Does the interface (designed for the iPhone) of the X910BT also work OK with Droid phones? Also, if you could provide known newer Droid phones you have "real" experience with getting to work with the X910BT (particularly for music functionality), that would be helpful. Thanks so much!
