  2. I've been looking for a wiring diagram of the main connector. Not all the wires are labeled - it is not on the CD that came with the HU. and thanks for the clarification - i'm not looking to dim like my dash - but to go into night mode when my lights are on.
  3. which wire is the dimmer wire on the 120 wiring harness? is there a wiring diagram somewhere that lists them all?
  4. yeah - he is out of the current bezel -- so he is sending me the kit with the discontinued one and will send me the new one when it comes in. he did answer my wiring questions - i think i'm good to go -- should have all my parts in by monday! and i agree -- the sound of my porsche with the sport exhaust is great! love getting on the gas!
  5. Next some questions: 1. What year? its a 2003 2. What are you replacing? CR220? CDR23?, probably not PCMx. CDR23 (that's why i got a new amp as well) 3. What is the stock speaker config? Any existing amp? How many speakers? stock 4. Where did you get the 2din bezel and harness adapter (you aren't planning on splicing, are you?) - I've been waiting on Eurospeed -- they are out of the kits right now. I don't have any specific knowledge of the 996, and from what I found so far, it looks like the console and bezel is completely different. So I can't give you specific wire locations. Have
  6. just reviewing my notes and trying to find a couple more answers. I have just about all my equipment in and will be doing the install in the next few day's. I went with the Avic-z120bt, JL Audio XD600/6, sirius connect, hd radio and the boyo wireless b/up camera. I think I know how I'm doing everything but the speed signal input (the pink wire) and the reverse wire hookup. where should those go? do i need to re-wire any of my stock speakers when using the JL amp? thanks!
