  1. Haha ok, i have no idea what it looks like but ill try to find it.
  2. well why would the video work while driving then?
  3. reset it and its still greyed out. Anyone have any idea? the manual says "2. TOUCH EQ TO TURN THE AUTO EQUALIZER ON OR OFF *you cannot use this function if auto EQ has not been carried out." Don't know what that even means exactly lol.
  4. ya a few times in the past, but ill try it again.
  5. a defective unit that only doesnt show the auto eq? i doubt it. Its there its just greyed out. There are no other problems with the unit so i realy doubt that only that part does work. The 4200 slides down and up in order to put a cd or mic or sd card in since it is a 7inch screen and nothing else, and when it is open and i put the mic in the jack it doesnt slide up, because it knows the mic is there and in the way, so obviously the jack also works. 8. im pretty sure it says to click auto eq and then plug in the mic... but its greyed out and even if i plugged in the mic first, it wont shut since the mic jack is in the way
  9. Hey guys, first of all I have the avh 4200 dvd, stock speakers in my is300 (which are very nice sounding speakers) with tweets fronts and rears, and a jl w7 12. I was trying to use the auto eq option the other day with one of my good mics made by alpine i think, but i could figure out how the hell it will work? I ask because the 4200's mic jack is on the inside where you have to raise the hu in order to get to that just like your putting in a cd. But how am i supposed to close it in order for my mic to start auto eq'ing if the mic jack is in the way? It wont even move and also the "auto eq" is
