To get around the password, Download the official firmware from Pioneer, Download AVIC-Z120BT Firmware Update Version 2.003 Then download the firmware hack, AVICZ110BT-2.004.zip (25.75K) Extract both .ZIP files. You will now have one folder called " AVICZ110 " this is the official update, and you will have two files " EU090APL.VER " and " RenewalIFLib.dll ". Cut the " EU090APL.VER " file and past into the " AVICZ110 " folder replacing the original file. Now cut the " RenewalIFLib.dll " and paste into " AVICZ110/APL " folder, again replacing the original file. Copy the " AVICZ110 folder
  2. same here! I have a z120bt in a '05 dodge durango and even replaced the antenna with an aftermarket one with new cable and all. I've got crap FM signal and NO AM signal. I guess I should stop calling it a "radio" and start calling it a iPod interface.

I just installed a complete Pioneer system that includes, Avic-z120bt head unit, a GM-d9500f amp powering 2 sets of TS-d1720c components, a GM-d8500m powering 2 TS-sw2501s4 slim subs, a GM-d7500m powering 1 TS-sw841d slim sub. Every thing seemed straight forward untill I was hooking up the GM-d8500m amp. The amp has a non switchable LPF crossover, as does the subwoofer output on the head unit. I would like to be able to switch off the subs from the head unit if needed without shutting off the front or rear channel. So my question is, how should I set up 2 crossovers to work together and not ki
