Yeah it has a module provided to interface with the Toyota JBL system called PAC TATO. That was the one recommended by most folks. I'll ask some folks on the T4R.org forums incase they've run into this issue.

I have the X920BT installed with the bypass done on a 05 4Runner with JBL. The system works fine for the most part. Only issue I'm facing is when I use the Front or Rear fade and move the sound back. Eg.. If is is set to Rear, the sound actually moves to the Front speakers and also continues on the rear speakers for a few seconds.... ever randomly If it is set to Rear left or rear right the sound will move to Front left or Front right respectively while continuing to play on rear left or rear right.. Anyone run into this issue? It happens randomly every 15-20seconds.
