  1. In my impreza I have my steering wheel controls connected to my bt920 and for some reason my buttons my buttons lose functionality randomly. Once I lost volume up then mute. I am able to reprogram and it works again for a bit but then eventually they lose functionality again. I am using the pac swi-ps to connect my steering wheel controls to my unit. I had this problem once before so I got a replacement unit and wiring harness and reinstalled. That seemed to do the trick until yesterday when the problem seems to have started all over again. It was fine for months then all of a sudden it just s
  2. This happened to me once and I took it into the installer. All he did was reset the unit by removing it from power. My sirius was just frozen and the reset worked. Unfortunately it meant removing the dash and getting behind it to pull the power and plug it back in. 4. How do you program you steering wheel buttons?
  5. I guess my question is: why can't the VR engine simply initiate at startup? Why does it have to be tied to the GPS maps at all?
  6. I have updated to the latest firmware (2.003), but there are still some issues that I would like to see dealt with. I wish that you did not have to start the maps so that VR would work. I wonder if this could be fixed with an update. Does anyone here have any info on any new firmware updates?
  7. What do you mean by "speed on the screen". Is it not responsive? I do have lots of issues with scrolling the presets on the screen. It is hard to scroll while driving to get to a preset.
  8. I have an AVIC 920 BT with the steering wheel controls and Sirius. I was wondering if anyone knew a way that I could use my steering wheel controls to browse through presets instead of just available stations? I know you can do this on the touch screen, but it is handy to do it on the steering wheel instead. SInce I have Sirius some times I have a lot of stations between the stations that I like and it gets tedious to keep pressing the steering wheel controls 50 times. Thanks in advance.
