I noticed that there is a red and white RCA cable, labeled audio input. Can I use them?

I just got a 2007 Colorado. It came with a working AVIC-D2 but no documentation. I would like to connect my iPhone 3GS to it so I can use my Pandora App. Any suggestions on how and what I need? Rick H
