everytime i turn my car on and my HIDs turn on it shuts my audio off. why is that?

Common problem and no certain fix. Turn your lights within the first 5 seconds of starting your car and you will be good to go.

they checked the voltage and it was good, the two audio shops are arguing that its the others product malfuctioning. HIDs vs. radio i dont know who to believe

The problem is with the unit. The HIDs are working as they should but its the head unit that is reacting to something going on with the car when the HIDs are switched on. Remember, this is a common problem with many people and all of the 2009/2010 units.
