anyone?

i tried changing the balance when a recorded song is on and there is absolutely no sound on the front or back right speakers, left ones are ok. Tried it with all other sources and with a non recorded song off a cd, works perfect. I tried both a store bought cd and a cdr....same result. The installer said it might be something with the hard drive....no clue at this point. I will call pioneer on monday but if someone can chime in...would be great....btw, how do i perform a level 4 reset and what are the effects of doing that...any loss of data?

hey guys. I just recently had the Z2 installed and everything works fine except for one thing. When i record a song to the hard drive the sound only comes from the front and rear LEFT speakers. Nothing from the right. WHen the cd is playing and not recording to the hard drive both sides work perfectly, only when recording or when a song is recorded. All the other AV sources (DVD, map, etc) work perfectly, no problem. Just when i have recorded or are redcording songs to the Hard drive. I cant find any settings so i dont know what is going on. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

i looked and for my car american international doesnt make one, neither does scosche or best kits, metra is the only one that make it. I have a 2005 MB clk

well, i emailed them and they said that the trim ring does not come with my kit. Some metra kits do and some dont. I verified it in the metra website's pdf file. You guys think a local shop can fabricate one? is that one piece gonna be expensive???

i emailed them and they said that that is all the kit comes with. He said to have a local shop fabricate one. I am waiting on the pioneer double din install kit which has the brackets and a trim piece and im hoping that will close the gap

i bought it from installer.com i thought they were a reputable company. I have bought from them before with no problems. Anyone else have any issues with them??

no, thats all that came in the box, just that and a storage pocket to make it a single din

just some quick info, i have a 2005 mercedes clk and bought the metra kit for my car. When i went to fit the avic z2 i noticed that there is a gap between the kit and the avic. My question is, how do i close this gap? the frame that came with the avic is too big for this dash kit. Do i need to have a shop custom install something? I saw on this thread ( http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7801 ) that this memeber has the same kit but has some kind of frame between the avic and the dash kit. I think thats what i need. Thanks in advance....
