The subject says it all. I upgraded to the "NEW" 70 disk, I used it for the first time today and on the way home while I was on the freeway, all of a sudden the maps turn light blue, I still see the arrow (my car) pointing in the right direction and a dashed white line (my route) but everything else is light blue. Has this happened to anyone before and if so how do I fix it. Thanks Al

Bypass thing is right, find a different installer if he told you that. Well about the arrow, just hit the red and white diamond on the screen it will change the mode.

I just figured it out, recently I had some work done to my car and the passenger side interior (kick panel) was removed, well the navi brain was put back in upside down, I flipped it over and everything is ok now.

The clock and the speedo reads right but the direction shows me going in the wrong direction, then it recalculates and shows me going in the right direction, only until I turn again. Ex-if im going south and then turn east, it thinks I turned west until it recalc. this makes it hard while following a route because it constantly recalculates. How do I fix this. Thanks Al

I'm new here so please be nice, anyway I was wondering if anyone has thought of creating a CUSTOM BACKGROUND DVD DISK with hundreds of images on them to sell to IDIOTS like myself who can't figure it out or to those who are just to plain lazy to do them. It might be helpfull for alot of folks. If there was such a disk I would buy it if it were around, lets say $10.00 or so, just a thought, Hell I don't even know if it's possible.

Hello everyone, I've been lurking around for awhile and find this site to be very useful, so I finally joined and wanted to say hello to everyone. I have an AVIC-N3 with a IPOD adapter and everything else is INFINITY. I really like the N3 and find it very functional (for my needs), I've already done the DVD hack and looking forward to setting up new backgrounds when I figure it out, could use help with that, I do have one question, Where do I get a new DVD MAP DISK, if one is available?
