  1. glad you got it to work...let me know if you ever find any other apps to load on the U220
  2. Why would you want to hook it up to the parking brake? just ground it, or do the relay bypass so you can play videos while driving
  3. i dont think i signed up for the wrong thing, it said poi directions for avic-u220. i guess i'll have to call pioneer tomorrow.
  4. how long did you have to wait for the email from pioneer? its been a week and a half now, still nothing...ohh yeah, they charged me 5 bucks for some reason. How big of a flash drive did you have to have?
  5. are you able to upload anything to the SD card? It will only accept a Fat32 format, make sure its not NTSF. Plug U220 into computer Open Avic Feeds Click on Applications, window should pop up asking to select memory device, click on sd card. (see attached image), it should look like this (except the right side should show your sd card data) Click on the check box's on the left of the applications, and click on the sd card. it should transfer over. If this doesn't work, you might want to call pioneer... good luck Ohh yeah, you're not using a mac are you? I dont think
  6. what do you mean by "no luck"? what did it do? It worked first time for me. Were you able to get it loaded on the sd card? All you have to do then is fire up your car, go to the Nav menu, click applications and it'll ask if you want to load the clock or pic viewer.
  7. When im talking through the bluetooth and if i have another call come in, it keeps ringing, even if i pick up the other line or ignore the other call. anyone know how to fix it? I keep having to hang up and call back to get it to stop ringing.
  8. Download the Avic Feeds application (should be able to find it using google), install it on your computer, put a SD card in the u220, plug it into your computer using usb cable, and install it to the gps unit. the given applications are kinda useless, its a clock (ripples when you touch the screen) and a picture viewer. i want something cooler!
  9. Anyone know any applications to load?
  10. I just plugged my avic-u220 into my computer for the first time, and i loaded the clock and picture loader. Are there any other application to load on the avic-u220? Also, how long did you wait till you got the email from pioneer to get the poi loader info? They also charged me $5 even though they said its free? Thanks!
