  1. Well it appears there aren't even any wiring harnesses or double din dash kits for the non-nav '08 Escapes yet, so I have some time. Anybody seen any harnesses or anything for an '08? Please let me know if you have. I can't seem to find any. Thanks for the info guys. Russ
  2. I just bought a new 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid. I wanted to put my D3 in there, but I'm having trouble locating the wiring information. Would anybody have that or know where I coudl get it? Thanks. Russ
  3. I used the Metra kit for my '00 Explorer. It didn't fit from teh start, but after some dremel work, it fits right in. Could be a better fit, but Ford could have hooked us up with a full double din instead of the 1.8 din crap. Russ
  4. Here is the link to the Pac-Audio site for your truck. Says you need to connect the green wire to pin B31 (Lt. Green) in the steering column. I wouldn't count on B31 being light green, but it may be. The color of my wire it specified was incorrect. Just take a look at the pins and locate the correct one. Whichever wire is in that pin location is the one you want to tap in to. Make sure to cut the brown looped wire in the SWI-PS harness (step 5). Good luck. It's a little confusing, but works great once you get it. Russ
  5. My VX8100 also autoconnects like a charm. I cannot get it to transfer any contacts ot the phone book, however. How do you send contacts to the D3 via bluetooth?
  6. I completely agree. I had thought they shipped me out the wrong harness (turns out they didn't), so I called them on Friday when I got my order. The tech on the phone explained if it was indeed the wrong harness, I could go to the store and buy the correct one, and Crutchfield would reimburse me. What other company would be willing to do that? Definatley worth the extra couple of bucks for Crutchfield. Russ
  7. I'm looking for the VSS and reverse wires for a 2000 Explorer Eddie Bauer. It has the Mach audio system. I've searched the forums, and some people say it's only in the big wiring harness on the passengers side of the engine bay (grey/black). Others say it's in the radio harness, but I dont' see a grey/black wire in there. Can anyone confirm either way? There is a 20-pin connector for the stock radio, but I dont' seem to need it for my D3. I thought maybe the wire was in there, but no grey/black. Anyone have a pin-out of that connector? Also, where is the reverse wire for the backup cam
