I talked to the Pioneer service rep, and they said to send in the head unit and the hideaway brain, but I heard a few horror stories of people not receiving back the brain. Has anyone succesfully gotten the flex cable upgrade with sending the brain to them? Thanks.

Hello everyone- I just got a car with the N1 - I don't really like the beeping that it does with every button. I found in the menu where to turn it off, but once I turn the car off, then on again, it starts beeping again at max level. If I go back into the menu, it is stilled turned down. If I put the sound level up 1, then back down it's at the correct level until it's turned off and on again. Any ideas what would cause this, and does anyone else have this problem? Thanks.
