  1. Just thought I would throw out a update concerning my problem with my D2. I had a charging issue with my Excursion I replaced both batteries( they were shot. But also changed out my alt(was not charging) . After checking the volt output of new one I noticed It would not charge more than 13.1 and only 12.8 with headlights on. So I took off all cables and cleaned ALL connection in the charging sys. from alt to the battery junction box. My alt now charges 14.7 constantly . I had given up on fixing the arrow issue (figured bad unit) but after I took truck for ride after all the work I noticed th
  2. Colors like (power) VSS(Pink),etc.
  3. I thought that would make it to easy.
  4. Was wondering if the wiring on a Z1 was the same as a D2. Could I replace the head unit only(seems to easy). Thanks cfde76
  5. Nowbody else has had this problem? Just found some more related problems. When in vehical dynamic it showns a vehical speed that will vary 5mph to 20mph but if i rev engine(in neutral) it will go back to omph breifly then go back to eratic speeds when not moving. Thanks cfde76
  6. I have tryed to reset the learning and it still does it. Is the vehical speed done through the ant. or the vss. My ant. signal shows orange. Thanks cfde76
  7. The ant. is located on dash up front along windshield in the center. Its been there for a couple of years. Thanks cfde76
  8. I had a shop do the install about two years ago without a issue till now. So Iwould have to beleive the install was done correctly. Thanks cfde76
  9. Just recently I noticed that arrow on my AVIC D2 moves slowly even when I'm at a red light. The arrow will put me past the street before the light turns green. I went into setting and it shows 3 to 4 mph when stopped. Another thing not sure if related after starting vehical for first time in morning the location on my GPS is way off. I have to drive around a while for it to find itself. That was never like that. Any help would be great. Thanks cfde76
  10. After looking at the radio harness. I noticed that the blank opening that everybody is talking about requires a larger wire. The pins are bigger, so mute wire really won't work .so what is my next choice. Thanks cfde76
  11. Can someone tell me when relocating the mute wire(yellow/Black) in the harness to the open space in the connector. What does that pin control & why was there no wire to begin with. Thanks cfde76( new to this site, alot of great info )
