I had the same problem when I changed my phone. My GPS unit was correctly set-up but the "detectable" feature on my phone was set-up to off. When I turned it on, my GPS was connecting to my phone.

My unit was pre-installed in the Kia Sportage 2010 Special Edition. When I set-up an itinerary, I have an issue when I'm getting close to an highway exit. The issue is with the "Distance to the guidance point" window. When I get to about 1000 ft (300 m) from the exit, the distance shown in the "Distance to the guidance point" window is 0 ft. The main window actually shows that there are 1000 ft to go and the car icon is well positionned on the map, i.e not at the exit yet. Any issues at your end with that?
