I assume you are talking about the laser lens that reads disks. Misfit read the problem. You can purchase a dvd / cd cleaner disk. This disk has a small brush imbedded into the disk, which when played electrostatically removes dust from the lens. This will not remove finger prints from a lens, but the only way they are going to be on there is if you have opened the unit up and touched the lens. If you do have a super dirty lens or finger prints on it, then the only way I know to clean it is to open the unit and clean the lens eye with a cue tip and some windex, thanx misfit LOL.
