  1. Has anyone figured out how to connect the Speed Pulse (Pink wire) for a Mazda MX-5 with the Bose audio for a 2009? I have done a ton of research on this but haven't conclusively come to a point where I believe it is not possible. I have seen post for 2006+ MX-5's that suggest that VSS is not wired into the Bose audio harness. I have seen posts that say it is based on a microphone that senses road noise. I am fairly certain my stock Bose radio did adjust volume based on speed but can't seem to determine what wire (if any) is providing the signal. Any thoughts?
  2. Not sure why there is so much negative press on this unit. I have had mine for about a month and I love it. I had it professionally installed (could have done it myself, electrical engineer) and it has worked flawlessly for me. GPS is awesome; antenna placement is key. iPhone/iPod/Pandora interface is great!
  3. I have the same problem, installer didn't connect the illum wire so now I am in Day mode all the time.... Will have to get that fixed! This post really helped me figure it out. Still wish Pioneer would give me the option to use time of day or at least the option to select "Night" in the settings (currently only shows "Automatic" or "Day" options.
