ok thanks for the answer. and yes the screen does have both....pioneer cable and rca inputs. BUt I guess im back to the drawing board then. I know its not impossible i just have to figure out how....hmmm... improbably gonna have to take teh d3 apart...

hey thanks for rhe response but i dont want to be able to control it from the 2nd screen, i just wantto be able to view the same picture on both screens at the same time

Im upgrading from from my old setup (avic 90dvd w/touchscreen) to the D3 butI wantto hook up the old screen tothe d3 so that it shows the same screen thats on the d3. Reason being....D3 is too deep to be mounted high in my dash so i wa goingto mount the other screen up top and then the D3 at the bottom. Anyone know how I can accomplish this thanks....

i was told that by extendingthe wires from the screen that i would mess up the resolution touch screen functions. is this true?

if im correct about the hideaway brain.....it being the main unit for everything and the other part is only the screen and the cd/dvd rom. couldnt this brain be used with...say the pioneer external touchscreen with the avic 90

hey thanks for the response. the d3 is cool but its too deep for where i want to install it. I might just order a new ribbon and see if i can butcher it up and extend it thanks

has anyone ever seperated the screen from any of the n-models. I want to mold the screen into my dash instead of having it fold out thanks

i already had it repaired once, its probably just real dirty from being under my sea, thanks alot, ill try to give it a good cleaning this week and ill probably move it to my golve compartment or something.

would it be posible to burn the disk to an external hard drive and use that instead....that would probably stop the problem imhavingright now

Ive finally found a pioneer forums.....its about time... well here is my issue. I have an avic 90dvd with the touchscreen. I also have a pioneer deck(forgot which model) with myipod hooked up to it. maybe its because i have the avic 90 under my passenger seat, but in the winter, it doenst read the disk, i always have to ejectit and put it back in. Im thinking that condenstaion might be the culprit....any ideas? And oh the disk that im using is 1 from the a newer model , i think its the cdmv 50 or something like that. I dont think its the disk because when its warm out side it works pre
