all sorted now, purple wire to reversing light (positive), camera positve connected to that, the rest to ground, works fine when selecting reverse gear now

I have the AVH 3300BT and the parking brake wire i just grounded and works fine, not sure why people bother with relays tbh

Ive installed mine on my car today (having problems with it), and when messing on with it, the picture appeared without lines that you have mentioned. Think it was while using it through the AUX output (not sure though)

Getting the same problem as a lot of people are having, i.e screen changing to black with just the message showing, only way around this is to turn the camera of in the settings. What is the correct way to wire it up and get it working properly??
