My Pioneer Pioneer AVIC-X920BT DVD/NAV/AV unit (with Pioneer GEX-P920XM XM Satellite Radio) is losing my XM radio presets. This started approximately two or three weeks ago. Since then I have had to manually add the XM stations back to my preset list a few times, only to lose those settings again. Sometimes the presets will remain a few days, sometimes just a day or two. I’ve also noticed that my Passport 9500IX will not come on when I turn on the ignition (set to come on with the ignition), but sometimes it will. I’m just wondering now if the Pioneer and/or Passport aren’t connected to consta

Do you mean physically install a mini toggle switch on the, "illumination wire"? If I'm following you, what that means is when I turn on my headlights I would then flip the toggle switch to keep the display at daytime illumination, correct? Wow, why didn't Pioneer include an adjustable setting for display brightness, no matter if it's daylight or nighttime? Thanks!

For safety reasons I drive with my headlights on during the day. The problem is when I do that, it makes my AVIC-X920BT display screen too dark. And for that matter, even with the lights off it could be a tad brighter. Does anyone know of a setting to change this, or to make the display illumination brighter? Thanks!
