Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone has a "how to" for setting up an Avic 900bt at home so I can work on it out of my car. It was make everything must easier. I know this has been done but, I dont understand how its done. Thanks, Ben

ive been reading a ton on this forum today and I am now inside Windows CE. Is there a way to downgrade my firmware update from 2.008 to 2.006 through windows ce?

Hey guys, So i went to do my 2.8 firmware upgrade today because of the ridiculously slow boot up times. Well I loaded the upgrade onto my SD Card and then printed out the instructions from pioneer. I followed the instructions exactly and after the firmware upgraded it did a reboot (as expected). It rebooted and then stopped at the splash screen so, I then held down the reset and eject key for 5 seconds and the system rebooted. It again got stuck at the splash screen. I then pressed the "menu" key while it was stuck on the splash screen and i was able to get to the main menu. I touched

Hey Rippa were you able to downgrade the firmware?

I am having the same damn problem! Did you just do a firmware update? I just did the 2.80 update to fix the "slow boot up" and now it gets stuck at the "pioneer splash screen". I can press the "menu" button but, I cannot use my "av source" or any other options except for my "system settings" nnothing else works. If there is a way to uninstall and reinstall the software that would be great because Pioneer wants me to send it in for $200 and that is probably all they are going to do.
