  1. Available in October. $30 for the adapter, $40 for the cable. http://store.apple.c...-30-pin-adapter http://store.apple.c...in-adapter-02-m
  2. Yes, I should be able to fix this in a future release. Killing the app was a workaround for a previous issue that has been fixed. Never tried changing it back. I'll download it and take a look. Should be an easy fix. Can you be more specific with "slowed things down to a crawl"? Launching apps? The menu? Literally everything? Just trying to narrow it down so I know where to start looking.
  3. Just posted RC1. Lots of fixes in this version, still a couple more bugs though. This will probably be the first version I push to Cydia.
  4. Disrgard my last post. I know exactly what's causing the push issue. I was focusing on the new Backgrounder code but it turns out this bug has existed for a while now.
  5. Just to confirm that I understand the issue, push email works fine until you manually kill the process. Once it is manually killed, it doesn't start itself back up again. Is that correct?
  6. I just posted a new beta that should fix the problem. Would you mind uninstalling Backgrounder and update to beta 7? Let me know if it works.
  7. Sounds like a problem with your setup. When you plug the cable into the bottom of the phone, the music is rerouted through the cable and into the device. The volume control on the phone (buttons and on screen) only controls the volume output through the headphone jack. Since the sound is routed through the cable to the device, the buttons on the head unit are the only thing that can change the volume. Not sure if I can help you with this. If you want, start a new thread and we can discuss there. Trying to keep this thread on topic.
  8. How do you keep it running in the background without closing it? The mail app always runs in the background when you press the home button. Can you try this version of the Backgrounder.plist? I changed the backgrounding method value from 2 to 3. Link Removed Edit: Just a note. This plist may break touch for unsupported apps. Just trying to see if it fixes the Mail push issue. I was able to reproduce the issue on my device. Looking into a fix.
  9. Try this version: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2591/AppRadio/Backgrounder.plist The documentation is for the version in Cydia. The beta version in this thread had different/new features that aren't in the docs yet. Not sure why you are getting the red X. I'm trying to stabilize a version for my AppRadio 1 and then once that is working I'll try to figure out whats going on with the newer devices.
  10. Try installing the latest version and modify the Backgrounder.plist file in /var/mobile/Library/AppRadioExtensions. Delete everything in the overrides section. I'm pretty sure it have something to do with this file. I'm only manually enabling backgrounder on the AppRadio app.
  11. Try the new 'Disable External' setting. It makes Navigon think there is no external display.
  12. Does this happen every time or only for certain apps? Can't you just press the home button on the radio and the Apps button to launch the AppRadio app? I'm trying to get away from adding custom home buttons to apps and this method has been working great for me.
  13. I posted an updated version. Can you try this one and let me know if you experience the same problem?
  14. Did it work on the first app you pressed and nothing after that? Or nothing at all? Did you notice the black screen stuck on the springboard at all? Temporarily took down the link. Need to fix one more thing before everyone tries it.
  15. Updated the first post with a link to Beta 4. This version may or may not fix the black screen problem for everyone (I'm testing out some new ideas). Let me know if it works for you. I also added a setting to disable an app's built in support for external displays. The some apps block you from using the external display when they are in use. This will let you mirror those apps to the AppRadio screen.
  16. Sounds like a conflict with another tweak. Try disabling/uninstalling some other things you installed from Cydia.
  17. Nothing yet. Life's been busy the last few weeks. I'm still working on it though, stay tuned.
  18. Does anyone have any experience coding for jailbroken devices? I'm kind of stuck on this black screen issue. It's a bug with the Backgrounder code on iOS 5.
  19. The black screen is a known issue with backgrounding apps on iOS 5. It's at the top of my list.
  20. Just updated the first post. You may have to switch to Developer mode in Cydia. (Manage -> Settings -> Developer)
