  1. Already working on it. I'm making an editable blacklist that blocks apps from using the secondary display. Edit: Confirmed as fixed in the next beta.
  2. I always have this problem, even on non-jailbroken devices. It seems like MotionX is the only app that knows how to use the AppRadio's GPS antenna. Not something caused by the beta.
  3. Yes, for now. I need to optimize the mirroring functionality after I get the core functionality working.
  4. Make sure PreferenceLoader is installed. I added a list of dependencies to the first post of this thread. I can't mirror the screen when the display is off. Does anyone know if changing the brightness of the display helps with the heat issue? Maybe I can work with that.
  5. This beta is separate from the version in Cydia. Just install the file from the first post. It will overwrite the Cydia version. You shouldn't have to restore. AppRadio Extensions is loaded from /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries. Just delete the one or two files from that folder and restart springboard/reboot the phone. If the problem still exists after removing the files, it's not caused by the Extensions. It is compatible. I'm testing on a iPhone 4 running 5.1.1.
  6. Updated the first post with the Beta 3 link. This version should fix the issue with app switching. There is still a problem with the AppRadio app getting stuck on the SpringBoard. It's a known issue with Backgrounder that I'm trying to work out. Restart SpringBoard to clear the issue.
  7. Not yet. If you can't control the AppRadio app with the head unit, this won't work.
  8. There will be a link in the first post of this thread. Check back in a few days for beta 3.
  9. Does the AppRadio app work in app mode? What do you mean by "it didn't really work"? Fixed switching from an unsupported app back to the AppRadio app. Hoping to have an update out in a day or two.
  10. I took it down for now until I fix the app switching issue. Still working on it, stay tuned.
  11. Quick status update: Life got pretty busy the past few weeks so I haven't had much time to code. I just got my new computer all set up so I should be back on track now. Still working on the app switching issue. Do you still have PreferenceLoader installed? Sounds like its not automatically switching to the selected application? I'd just hold out until the next update to see if the issue still exists so we aren't tracking down something that was already fixed.
  12. Sounds like it's not picking up on the app's orientation. I added it to the bug list. With touch events for the app on the radio's screen - No Without touch events from the radio - It's possible Maybe I'll add something like this in the future. Right now I'm still working on the core functionality (app switching, orientation changes, etc.)
  13. I don't plan on opening up my dash any time soon. I'm still trying to figure out why there is a difference. The AppRadio app should work the same way on both devices.
  14. Yes, I wrote it for the AppRadio 1. I don't have a 2 to test with so I can't say if it works or not. I don't see why it wouldn't though.
  15. SBRotator (in Cydia) adds landscape support to some of the built in apps. I use this tweak so I plan on making sure it plays nicely with the AppRadio. The full height issue is a bug (see the first post). Still trying to resolve it. I've tried a few things to make the phone display turn off but haven't been successful yet. It's on my list but low priority.
  16. Turns out it's a bit more complicated than just adding them to the white list. I'll have to work on this for beta 3.
  17. Any app that contains support for external displays but is not approved by Pioneer will not work properly. I have to manually add them to a whitelist. If you post the bundle identifier for the app, I can add it.
  18. App switching doesn't work correctly yet. When the AppRadio app gets backgrounded, it can get stuck on the springboard. Try pressing on the black bars to the left or right of the mirrored screen. It should kick you back to the AppRadio app.
  19. Beta 2 is available. Check the first post. Make sure you uninstall Backgrounder before installing this version. They are not compatible with each other.
  20. They fixed the home button in the 2.5 firmware update. If you use the Extensions, make sure you turn off 'Disable Home Launch' so the radio goes back to the app menu. It seems like they removed the launch video from the AppRadio app too. Slowly learning from the community. We're making progress!
  21. AppRadio Extensions work fine. Did they finally get rid of the annoying launch video?
  22. Hey guys. Just got back from vacation so I'm playing catch up. Not sure. I'm only on 5.0.1 but I dont see any reason why it wouldn't work. I won't be able to test it until they release the jailbreak. This isn't caused by the Extensions. Just bad design by Pioneer/Apple when handling external displays. 1.9.9-1 is the latest beta. I do this so when I release 2.0 on Cydia, it will automatically update. Still working on the second beta. I tried to get it finished before I left for vacation but I didn't have enough time. Stay tuned.
