  1. Does anyone have information for, "DVD region Code Changes". I have video to the back seat of my car. Really want my passenger to watch her dvd's from a different country, region. So is there a special menu, for this unit to change the region code?
  2. I don't know really. But I always use this program, free flv converter, to convert flv files to mp4 for my clarion. Mabey, your unit only accepts mp4 file format. I always had a problem if the program converted the file by default to 480 X (something) or greater. A program from DIVX or XVID converter to mp4 might help. ( not sure what the program is ) On you-tube they use a program to directly convert dvd or source files, such as video from a PS3 or X-box from a hardware (I forget, sorry) to show off a fragging session, or a crucial SSFIV meeting in hd, and it works.
  3. Jeez. All alone again. Never mind I got it kind of. I did the initial install with a toggle switch from, Radio Shack, of all places. I installed the unit somehow, found the break wire, and installed the switch from Radio Shack. It took me awhile to figure out which switch to use without soldering for an off center, SPDT switch. So I chose the switch (a center off model Model: 275-711; can be connected via connectors by crimping to a connector of the same size; forget the size). Kinda worked. But the guy from another forum says: He connected the break wire as intende
  4. No one? I need to access menu functions and bluetooth, but isn't possible with the relay. Anyone know a clever way to overcome this problem?
  5. I hope this topic isn't covered yet. But I found it very difficult finding directions on successfully installing a switch-bypass for the newer Pioneer units. From research from the the web, I found two distinct sites: and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8HCcNy9QQQ. The two essentially explaining the installation for a 12-volt relay. But the latter pointing out (in the comments section) the simple grounding of a, SPSD-switch, was not possible. Likewise, I learned, from Google searches, that a, SPDT-switch, acts as an conductor. Making the parking brake and ground wire conspire with e
