i have the first generation of the Ipod Video and when i plug it in, nothing happends. When my buddy plugged in his 5th generation ipod, the 'artist' button on the AVIC screen lit up but it said his IPod library was empty. What is most likely the problem, the fireware or the ipod?

Any AVIC techs know what the problem could be?

ok let me ask again then, Ive been noticing that my ipod doesnt play on my AVIC D3 unit. just had the fuse replace and everything else is working fine. Anyone know what could be wrong?

soo i got this pioneer avic d3 and it wont play my ipod. Anyone know what i can do to fix this? Also, when my buddy plugged in his ipod, it earased all his music Any help would be greatly appretiated thanks everyone
