  1. HUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY I FIGURED IT OUT. I had the same problem for a week straight even went and purchase another CD-IB100II believing the first was defective. Granted that you are connected to the 12 v battery constant Ground, ground and ground and only to bare metal. Any metal covered in paint or anything will not be proper ground. THANKS GOODNESS FOR THE VOLTMETER I WAS ABLE TO VERIFY THE VOLTAGE GOING TO THE CD-IB100II. As the book state 14.4 volts.   3. Ok so this is my second CD-IB100 UNIT ordered in 2 weeks. The problem I am having is that my unit(AVIC-Z2) doesn't work. I was able to test the yellow wire or POWER WIRE for power with a light tester. The black wire OR GROUND WIRE is grounded to the console panel frame. So am sure that wire correctly. As for as the IP BUS cable blue-blue and black-black. However, when I power up the unit, for some strange odd reason the ipod is not shown in the AV source MENU. What seem to be the problem. Has anyone else experience similar issue.. SO FRUSTRATING AAARRRGGGGGG!! PS IPOD IPHONE
