i have the N1, with the N3 upgrade, which disables dvd, and navigation when your driving past 5 mph. to re-enable the dvd, navigation while driving, there is a soldering mod/hack that needs to be done, i have never soldered anything on a circuit board, so i am looking for someone in michigan that has soldered on an N1 before, so i can Pay them to mod mine. i've re-read the first post and its pretty well explained in that one.

what exactly are you two confused about?

hi i'm new to the forum but i have a N1 on the way, with the upgraded N3 software already on it, i have a buddy that is an installer and he says he can revert it back to the old software, but i'd rather pay a pro to do the soldering mod for me so that i can have N3 software on my N1, and watch dvd's and have navigation on the go. so if theres anyone from michigan that has done this alot or even a enough times to feel comfortable doing it on someone elses unit, email me at polosport69112@aol.com or instant message me...s/n is same as email thanks
