  1. Gone back, reformated a bunch of sd cards, tried going with the first update SD1, then sd2.... error on all. I tried searching for your recommendation ron, on going back to a previous update...but I haven't found that file yet. When I find it, I'll try that...and if that doesn't work, I'll go into the test mode plan. The bluetooth phone is a must work!
  2. Thanks, I'll give that a try on monday. Let you know then.
  3. Awww.... I was feeling good about this one. I reformatted two different cards and put your file and both of them... neither card worked. Came back with the error. too bad there isn't an error log on the thing.... Am I going to run into problems if I call avic support? Being that I have the 3.0?
  4. Tried three different sd cards now... also tried starting with the first update on sd1... none of them work. I'm at a loss at the moment. Shouldn't my version (software) be 2.04 after updating? It's showing 3.0 Grrrr. Thanks for your help so far Ron. Joe

I went to settings, bluetooth, and hit firmware update. It runs....and then after 6 mins (every time) it returns "an error occurred during update" In the mean time, I've tried just moving the fir
  6. Thanks for the reply. I did NOT instal SD 2. I missed that part of the instructions! Thanks, sorry for the bother. I'll let you know if it works. Joe
  7. Hey all.... I had my blue tooth working fine for some time. I can't recall the exact time I lost it, might have been around the ios 5 update. I updated the avic today to the latest firmware and also upgraded the map too via the mods on here. When I look under settings, it always says bluetooth firmware ---:--- The 'upgrade' to 2.04 had the bluetooth files in it--thought it would fix it. Any ideas? Sometimes when I start up, bluetooth will be greyed out, and when its not, 50% of the time bluetooth will be "off" and the options are always greyed out. Thanks for your
  8. Thanks this worked for me! Now to find the traffic component to buy for it....
