I called Pioneer Tech Support this morning and this was the response I got:
It is due to the e-brake wiring not being done right. Come to think of it, i didnt do it properly, so if anyone else has this issue, fix the e-brake issue and resort to page: 75 & 134 of the manual
He said i should get my options screen / nav menu back to full function.
The reset button on the top left of the unit is only for the microprocessor, not the factory default reset.
