Anyone know an online store where I can buy the new maps? On the pioneer's website there is no information....

I dunno I can see them updating the look of how the map displays, makin it look more like how the F series display MINUS the 3D layout. Now I was wondering if this is for the actual disc itself that will upgrade the D/N/Z series systems as well. Map Upgrade"

I've been thinkin the same thing. I got a D3 and been waitin for ever. If they decide to release it by November, they might as well release it as a 2010 update and scratch the idea of a 2009. And if its takin so long to release the updates it better be damn worth it. Better be a software upgrade plus firmware as well to have this long ass delay. What's the hold up Pioneer??? Is it cause the new series of navi systems were release u just throw us on the back burner? Pull up ya pants and release the damn map updates.

Can we say Alpine??? Pioneer is full of crap. People should have to wait till 2010 for a 2009 map update. This is the first company that I have ever seen so behind on updates. That's weak. Like I said before, every June should be a new release. As soon as the 2009 update is release we will be cryin for the 2010 updates. I dunno gonna start lookin at Alpine.

Well Im in Canada and called up Pioneer Canada and was told that the release should be out by the end of September. That's what they say though. I personally think they need to release these updats by June every year. Its almost 2010 and still we on the 2008 Maps. Boooooo!!!

Hey what's goin on y'all? I was doin a Google search tryin to get info on the 2009 CNDV-90MT and ran across a PDF file of Pioneers 2009 Summer book. For some reason this book is completely different from the one online. I took a look at it and it was saying

Well I have emailed Pioneer twice already regarding the release of the new maps and up till now they haven't replied. They lackin big time. I can understand u have to promote the new series but hell dont turn ya back on the older models. Just release the updates so we all can sleep at night.

Man I dunno when Pioneer plans on releasin this 2009 update but heck its halfway through the year and still nuttin. The way Pioneer doin things we might see it close to 2010 when it don't matter no more. Maybe Alpine does a better job on releasin new updates

Well I was on the Pioneer website and was checkin out the 2009 Pioneer Mobile Summer PDF file and if u scroll down and look at "Updat Disc and SD Cards" u will see "CNDV 90-MT" listed there as NEW.

Just checkin out the price for the Z110BT is $1,800.00 Seems a lil steep for my blood. Thought it would be cheaper but I guess its way up. Sorry Jason for bein a PAIN in the rear but what about for the Z/N/D series and when you get that info can u find out as well if the updates will make our maps look similar to the NEW way Pioneer are releasing their map animation please.

Oh I was wondering as well if you guys can ask Pioneer if the 2009 Map upgrades for the Z/N/D series are gonna look cartoonish like the F Series or the same as the previous maps AND are we gonna get some new XM Tuner upgrade that will supply NAV Weather for us Z/N/D series owners???

nice...i think that unit must be the AVIC-Linc judging by the description...which is going to remain the same...but just in the north american market we are calling the new F series...the X-series 910 and 710 and the Z is Z110

Hey JasonH can you ask Pioneer when they plan on releasing the new 2009 maps for the Z/N/D series and any kind of info on what the upgrades consist please??? And is it possible to also find out if they are still using TeleAtlas or moving to NAVTEQ

 

They are still using the TELE atlas maps on the new X-series and the new Z110....dont know anything about them transitioning to NAVTEQ....and even if it is...its definitely not happening this year.

With that said, what about the release dates for these 2009 maps(hopefully upgrade maps), any word on a release date or just have to wait???

I have installed the BlueFTP and all works with me. Transferred my contacts over. But what I have also noticed is when u go to ur BT menu on ur BB and select Device Properties. Scroll down to SERVICES and then do a Refresh Service List and u should see things change. If u installed the BlueFTP and eanbled it you should see OPP, OBEX or Object Push and shit will transfer.
