CONFIRMED it does work. somehow my wire came loose and it looked as if it was in yet it never clicked in. The ground wires were fine it was just the mute wasn't fully placed in.

I was just asking, cause I grounded them all together and its giving me that problem, going to open it up tomorrow and check the connection.

when I ground the parking break lead does it have to be by itself or can it be with the other grounded wires?

but what could be the problem?

I bypassed my avic-d3 just as the picute and slide show said to do so but when I drive it tells me the parking break lead inst connected right. When I restart the d3 it works for about 1-2hours or until the next time i shut the car off, when I power it on it tells me the parking break lead isnt connect right again..? weird.. what to do?

all I could find on avic411 was how to many custom backrounds for the d1 & d2 how do I make and install them for the d3?

Just installed my avic-d3 and haven't touched one airbag wire, yet my airbag light still stays on for some reason? Car: 07 VW GTI
