  1. Phone registered in position 1 on my D3. Phonebook transfer failed using my 8830WE. Any ideas?
  2. Happens to me quite often - very disappointing. At first the only thing I knew of to get it to reset was to hit the reset button. I've recently discovered that if you select the "Modify Current Location" button and simply move your current location to somewhere else (doesn't have to be exactly where you are currently at - anywhere other than where it is stuck at) the unit will then correct itself after a short time.
  3. Taking my first trip using the D3 - hoping for good results. Very disappointed. Here's the situation: From my home area around Binghamton, NY I entered a destination address just outside of Cleveland OH. The route plotted (set on 'fastest' vs. 'shortest') a course north up I-81 to Syracuse, then west across I-90 to the Cleveland area. Not at all close to what I had anticipated, which was one of two possibilities - either South on I-81 to Hazelton PA then West on I-80, or West on Route 17 to join up with I-90 around Erie, PA then on to Cleveland. Furthermore, the Nav system calculat
  4. So you are unplugging/plugging the single antenna from one receiver to the other each time you want to listen to the other service? -Jeff No, I have two antennas. They are both Sirius branded. I plan on installing the XM antenna that came with the XM tuner this weekend. I'll be installing it on the roof. Try removing one of the antennas instead and use the adapter I pointed out a few posts earlier . . . let me know if it works - if so, I'll do the same with my install . . . you get to be the Guinea pig . . . ! -Jeff

  6. A quick search on google and I found this. -Jeff
  7. Has anyone that has done this used the same antenna for both XM and Sirius? I know you need a different antenna for the GPS - that's a given - so I can live with two antennas on my roof, but hate to add a third. Seems like we should be able to use the same antenna for both the XM and Sirius signals. The above assumption on my part is based upon the fact that the two signals are adjacent to one another (2320MHz - 2345MHz, with Sirius utilizing the lower half, and XM taking the upper half of the frequency spectrum) and I suspect that neither the XM nor Sirius antennas are designed to fil
