They did install a gadget for a bypass so I could input the address while driving. I also updated the firmware a while back. Maybe that had interfered with the gadget.

I have the Z1 and I am unable to input addresses using the address touch screen button . The address touch button is not even highlighed. I can input addresses using the voice cammand and it works OK. I also noticed that when trying to input the check marks into the points of interest box they won't check off. Does anyone have any Idea what may be wrong?

Just yesterday I had the Z1 installed along with the Bluetooth, XM radio, Ipod and Pioneer backup camera. Everything seems to work except the camera. I get a very dark and un clear picture, even after setting the brightness all the way up. The installer says he thinks it may be a bad camera. Has anyone else had a similar problem.

Hi all, Maybe someone can help me. I have a sheduled install on Monday for a AVIC Z1 into a 2005 Mustang. The installer is saying that the VSS can not be hooked up on the Mustang because Ford has made some changes in the way it reads. Can anyone confirm this. If it is possible does anyone know the location to tie into so I can pass this info to the installer. I also have the Shaker 1000 system. They say that will not be a problem. Any suggestions?
