I have a cable bought from Crutchfield that worked great... had video and audio at the head unit up until the lack of sound started to happen. I do have the album artwork for all of my music, i can control music and all just no sound. if i play you tube videos on my phone while connected i get the sound but no video. at one point i thought the cable had come loose on the back of the radio but nothing would work if that was the case. and thanks in advance for the help... using bluetooth right now for music but i want to get my head unit control back!

Re paired the phone and have set the AV1 to ipod to still no avail. Aha and other forms will not stream via the usb either. The song shoes up on the headunit and plays there is just no music??? profoundly lost.

I had my 4S connected perfectly via USB for ipod use up until a few weeks ago. I did do a firmware update but can't remember if that was the exact time the issues began... When i connect the 4S to my head unit via usb i can see the song playing on the head unit, can select, search and everything from the head unit BUT there is zero sound???? The second issue is that the contacts no longer transfer to the head unit from my 4s.
