Just PM'd you Misfit...what do you think about the difference in DVD playability from D3 to Eclipse units? Can you play DVD while still using Nav on either one?

Hello, I'm new to the forum...and looking for a solid nav system for my work vehicle. My only experience with nav was in an 01 acura mdx with factory nav and I really liked it. It didn't have some of the minor roads listed but did great 95% of the time. Now I am looking for a newer double din in-dash unit. I have been watching some D1's, 2's and Eclipse 2254 and 5435's on ebay. Seems like I can get something for between $500 and $700 that would do the trick. Question is...which one to buy? I like the idea of playing DVD's which would be eclipse ony unless you go to the D3. My m
