Look for the spare wire harness used by the stock unit and not used anymore and use the 3rd Pin (I Believe) - Yellow wire. That's VSS. There is also a VSS in the HVAC plug, but I have found the other once much easier to splice into. Just connected mine up in my 07 tC several days ago after finding the wiring diagrams.
