I know this thread has been dead for a while, but ... Has anyone figured out why the firmware update is not performing "as advertised" - install SD, close, and wait? I just got a Z130BT and tried the update - my unit currently has 3.000, so it's eligible. I put the SD in, close the face, and nothing happens. What did the prior posters mean by "reboot"? Turn car off/on, ??? Thanks to everyone! PS: I hope this speeds up booting! Yikes Doesn't seem to finish that before I arrive at my destination! LOL (sort of).

Is it possible to remove the links for Pandora and Ah-Ha (?)? Don't even get me started on the Facebook link! I don't use those; I only use my iPod. I don't want the other items; they just clutter up the screen. Thanks!

I just bought and installed my AVIC-Z130BT and installed it. Surprisingly simple. I was even able to do the bypass with little difficulty. Whew! However, for some reason my iPod only played on the Left Front speaker, and the Right Front speaker hums. Since i have an external Dodge amp, I have to rewire my rear speakers to get those working, but I haven't done that yet - so I don't know how the rear speakers are (or if) affected.
