tried that - didn;t work at all!! Have since tried other mobiles - and they suffer the same problems too! Im convinced its got soemthign to do with the fact that I am running the stereo through the pre-outs to my amplifier.... is there a way to hook up a separate speaker to the HU to try and boost the volume - was thinking of one of those speakers in the footwell that used to come with older incar handsfree kits???

I have just completed the hack before installing my D3 - my question is....will the mute wire still work??- I was hoping to connect my Parrot bluetooth to the unit and I think it needs the mute wire to tell the stereo that a call is coming in/out. I haven;t got the parrot kit linked to my speakers because of my separate amp....

Hi Im about to install a D3 tomorrow - I'm in the UK and therefore have a UK model. Ive been reading about bypasses to watch DVDs and navigation on the move....is thjeis the case for UK models??? thanks Alex
