Ok sweet .So all I need is the cddb/gracenotes free update from pioneer and buy the 2010 maps?No need to have some one update the HDD? Thanks for helping me out.

Ok I installed it so what I have is: version 03.000 device # 400931f8ba7b4a1a cddb version 07-01-0030 Thats all it shows.Can any one tell what update/software I have?

Any one know?Well what happends if I ground the two wire bypass in a april 2006 Z1?

Hey every one!I just got a used Z1,(ill post a proper intro and how I got it later). But any ways a quick question about my Z1. Right now its out of the car so I did the 2 wire bypass,but I do not know if its been updated. The manufacture date is April 2006,but on the screen while loading it says 2008. So before I install it in my car should I ground the 2 wires? I dont want to fry any thing. Right now I cant check the system hardware menu since its out. Any info will help Thanks Rich
