I'm wondering if anyone knows how or if it's possible to get a replacement optical drive for the 900BT? I had to pull mine out when it stopped working, and it looks like the previous owner had done the same - except had damaged it more than fixed it. I could spend a weekend re-tooling it, re-aligning it etc, but I'd rather just pay the $$ and replace it and drink beer instead I only paid $200 on ebay as someone has bricked it. I brought it back to live and now have a happy unit that's got all the mods and hacks! Love it, but sometimes it would be good to be able to toss in a CD / DVD inst

I might be answering my own question here, but could I tie into the wired remote harness to accomplish what I'm looking to do? I'm planning on setting the reverse camera up eventually, but if I can change a 'hardwired' button to both pause and turn off the screen, that would solve all my problems. Then I could simply use a manually switched 12v constant (like a bank of rechargeable batteries in case I forget one night to turn off the ignition bypass and drain my car battery!) Thoughts? I did some searching, but didn't really find an answer to my question. Is there a way to add a UI element to 'sleep' the F series 900BT unit? I ask because I deliver pizza, and while my keyless entry and remote start lets me leave the car locked and running when on the road, when I pull up at the shop, I turn the car off. It takes a few minutes - well maybe not that long, but long enough to notice, for the unit to power up again. It has the 12v constant and ignition source. I was thinking about putting in a 12v bypass switch so the unit remains on when I turn the car off, but that also me
