I own an AVIC F900BT and its set so I can view movies and navigation without having the parking break on. I see some posts here for new updates. I was told that in order for me to update, I have to put the stereo back in the original form and then upload otherwise my unit could crash, which Pioneer won't fix. Is this true? or can I upgrade my system without having to go thru the hassle of re-wiring it? Any input will help.
p.s. I need to update the unit and update the maps, so if you have links for those its much appreciated.
