  1. I'm sorry I'm not sure what you meant by "the black wire is black". Also I'm going to buy a meter. What should I be looking for when I test the black wire of the cig lighters harness? Thanks.
  2. ignore this post. my browser double posted. sorry.
  3. I finally got around to BestBuy to pick up the 12V DC Adapter today. Now I just want to confirm the connection before I start cutting and splicing wires. The adapter has a Red wire and a Black wire. The wires leading to the cigarette lighter are one White(with thin red stripe) wire and one Black wire. Should I somehow connect the Red wire from the adapter to the White(red) cig lighter wire, and then the Black wire (adapter) to the Black wire (cig lighter)? I hope that makes sense. But please let me know if I'm planning on doing this right. I don't want to blow anything up. LoL! Red wire, Black
  4. This is great! I already confirmed that the cigarette lighter socket does shut itself off when the key is removed and I just purchased the 12V DC Adapter at BestBuy.com with in-store pick-up so I should be all set. I'll let you know how the install goes. Thanks! This site rocks.
  5. Sorry for the back to back posts, but I was just thinking... If I did buy the product you are recommending, would I be able to connect it's red wire to the wire that leads to the actual cigarette lighter socket as an alternative to the connections you recommended? I'm sorry, but this is all new to me so I'm just not sure if that would work or if I should just try to install it the way you described instead. Thanks again!
  6. This is great news. This is exactly what I would like. BUT... the product is no longer available at that link you posted, and I'm having a hard time finding it anywhere else. I did manage to findthis link for a product available at BestBuy. Can you please have a look at this link and let me know if this is the same as the product you recommended? If so, then I might be able to pick it up at my local BestBuy. If not, can you help me located it somewhere else online? Thanks!
  7. Wow! That is all it's for? I really wish I would have known this sooner. MSN traffic updates don't even work any more (I think). I heard that the MSN Direct service is being phased out by Microsoft. So if that is true, I really wouldn't need this yellow cable to connect to anything. Thanks so much!
  8. Hi, I could use some help installing the F500BT in my 2007 Honda Accord EX Sedan. As of right now I have already connected the Audio Output to the Honda's factory radio using the Blitzsafe HON/AUX DMX V.2X Aux input adapter (since the radio does not come standard with an Aux input). For power I am using the DC 5V Vehicle power charger cable connected to my in-vehicle power port socket (a.k.a. Cigarette lighter). But I would like to power the F500BT with out using the Cigarette lighter socket. I believe (but I'm not certain) that I can use the Yellow Battery Cable for this purpose. The connecti
  9. I have a 2007 Honda Accord EX with a 120-Watt AM/FM/6-Disc In-Dash CD Changer Audio System: with 6 Speakers. I already own the F500BT but have not hooked it up to my car's audio system since it has no aux audio input. I was hoping I would be able to do this with the ND G500 amp. Would I be able to use the F500BT and the ND G500 amp in my car? Thanks for your help in advance.
