i know it doesnt play movies that y i bought a seperate dvd player and went to have it installed yesterday.....and was told the seperate dvd player wasnt functioning....and i have a bypass switch installed as of yesterday and still the buttons are greyed out whether im in park or driving

has anyone ever installed an xbox to their AVIC-D2 or just installed one period? Well how would u run it to your battery instead of a converter box......is there special wires needed? i searched the forum and found a few things.....but if i was to bring it to someone to do it professionally would they tell me i have to have my xbox modded or would they work around it? i have a honda ridgeline 06.......

Hey I have a pioneer Avic-D2 and ive been having it since december . Ive noticed that some of the buttons pertaining to the navigation are greyed out. Such as most of the buttons when i press DEST they all greyed out accept Check Vicinity ....what could cause this? Also i tried having a professional install my dvd player by pass come to find out he said the dvd player doesnt play the dvds i find that odd due to the fact its brand new....he installed a switch and he said it just says disc loading......but never plays ....anyone can help me with either issue.........
