  1. I'm having same problem. I've checked all wiring and even soddered them all the 3rd time I took it all apart. Same issue. The only thing I can think of is that the wiring harness (which i believe is the Axxess TYTO-01). It definately seems like some kind of processing issue as it seems to come and go. Also, it's worse depending on what settings i have. If I have loudness to mid or high, it is a lot more noticable. Do you have any kind of special wire harness that you need to use with an AMP? How about steering wheel control? If you have neither, maybe it is the unit.
  2. Just installed the Avic z140 in my Toyota Camry which had a JBL 8-speaker system. I had to get a harness that allowed the built in amp to sync up to the head unit. Plugged speaker wires done through the harness and then the harness plugged in via RCA cables. I don't know the model number, but it was an axxess. Also have the axxess steering wheel control adapter. Anyway, as I'm listening to music, the volume fluctuates. It does so more with BT audio and Pandora than with CDs, but still does it with CDs and radio. I noticed when I adjust the volume or do any fuction on the radio that ha
  3. hmm..according to pioneer's website and their owner's manual (page 190), that's inaccurate. It does seems to support voice commands, just not GPS voice input search locations. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Car/AVIC-Z140BH_OperationManual030212.pdf Have you used one? I've seen others say the same thing, so I'm wondering why it does seem to indicate there are voice commands, but I've seen quite a few comment there wasn't. Well that settles it. 140 it is. Thanks!! Anything else I should know?
  4. So what are the major differences between the two? I know the 130 allows you to input GPS address with voice control, but are there any other voice control differences? Also, does the bypass allow the voice input to work, or only allow you to type without parking break? Any other functionality differences? Here's what I do care about: Pandora via Android, Sirius, Voice controls, USB thumbdrive capability, Nav w/ traffic Here's what I don't care about: anything having anything to do with an iPhone. So how does the 140 differ from the 130?
